The process

How repairs work

  1. Describe the problem

Tell us what you're seeing or hearing. Photos and videos of the equipment pad help us come prepared.

  2. Diagnosis and written quote

We find the cause and send you a written quote. If repair and replacement are both reasonable, we'll lay out both.

  3. Fix and confirm

Once you approve, the work is scheduled. Afterward, we confirm the system is running as it should.

Repair or replace?

When an upgrade makes more sense

Sometimes fixing an old part is the right call. Other times, a newer part pays for itself. A good example is an older single-speed pump: replacing it with a variable-speed model can cut electricity use noticeably. When that's the case, we'll show you both prices so you can decide.

Some jobs need a specialist, such as electrical work on lights and pool equipment. For those, we bring in someone who does that kind of work, and you still deal with us.

Questions

Pool Repair FAQ

How do I know if my pool is leaking?

Losing more than about a quarter inch of water a day outside of hot, windy weather can mean a leak. A simple bucket test helps tell evaporation from a leak, and we can walk you through it.

Why is my pump running but not moving water?

Common causes are a clogged basket, a closed valve, low water level or an air leak on the suction side. If the simple checks don't fix it, request a repair visit.

Will you tell me the price before fixing anything?

Yes. You'll get a quote in writing and nothing is done without your approval.

Can you help after a storm?

Yes. Storms can flood equipment and fill pools with debris. Contact us and we'll help you sort out cleanup and any repairs.
