Pool remodeling that gives an older pool a fresh start
Rough plaster, faded tile and outdated equipment don't mean you need a new pool. A remodel can fix how the pool looks, feels and runs, often for a lot less than starting over.

Remodeling projects
- Resurfacing with plaster, quartz or pebble finishes
- Waterline tile replacement
- Coping repair and replacement
- Deck surface refresh around the pool
- Equipment upgrades to efficient pumps, filters and heaters
- Saltwater conversions
- LED lighting upgrades
- Automation so you can control the pool from your phone
How a remodel comes together
Talk it through
Tell us what bothers you about the pool now and what you'd like it to be. Photos are a great place to start.
Written scope and price
You get a clear scope of work: materials, steps and price. Nothing is vague and nothing starts until you sign off.
Build and start-up
Once the work is done, new surfaces need careful water chemistry for the first few weeks. We can take care of that start-up period too.
Is your pool ready for a remodel?
- The surface feels rough on feet or has stains that won't brush out.
- Plaster is flaking, or you can see bare spots.
- Tile is cracked, missing or permanently crusted with scale.
- Coping stones are loose or cracked.
- Equipment is old, loud or drives up your power bill.
Houston's clay soil shifts with wet and dry seasons, which can stress coping, decks and tile over time. If you're noticing new cracks, it's worth having someone look before they get worse.
Pool Remodeling FAQ
How long does resurfacing take?
It depends on the size of the pool, the finish you choose and the weather. Your written scope will include an expected timeline.
Which finish should I choose?
Plaster costs the least to start. Quartz and pebble finishes cost more but usually last longer and feel different underfoot. We'll go over the trade-offs for your pool.
Can I switch my pool to saltwater?
Most chlorine pools can be converted. A salt system makes its own chlorine from dissolved salt. It still needs regular testing and occasional cell cleaning.
Do I need a permit?
Some projects in some cities need permits, especially electrical or structural work. We'll sort out what your project needs during planning.
